I think he's refering too that allies can't be target by this model special rule. ^^;

Karamazov can target friendly models. Allies are friendly models.
There's nothing in the FAQ that says he cant

Only Battle Brothers are "friendly." Grey Templars have no Battle Brothers.

I think this is one of those times when common sense applies. If he can target a friendly model (something you ordinarily can't do under any circumstances), then sure as sure he can target a model that is treated as an enemy model that cannot ordinarily be targeted.
