well, thankfully Space Wolfs and Blood Angels are not astartes pattern bald.
so much not in comum with normal astartes pattern deployment/training
Typical space wolfs tournament deployment (in games)
6 Wolfs tactical squads (aka, grey hunters) ( as if, screw codex astartes)
2 Wolfs devastator squad (aka, long fangs) (same as above)
2 Wolfs assault squad (aka........ wolf guard?) (same as the too before)
plus, iniciates are Wolf scouts (as if, scouts are veterans, iniciats go to the blood claws) ( you guess it, as above too)

B.Angels typical tournament deployment (in game)
5 B.Angels assault squads (as astartes screwness dictates)
1 Death Compannies with jump packs (as the codex doesn't allow them to exist)
others random squads that are going to sit on objectives (not really needed to use)

so much for following the codex "screwing" astartes

well, now at least Black Crusaders are astartes pattern marines ( with non astartes "screw librarians/psykers" pattern battle-brothers)

I used to joke with a buddy of mine about helmets. He would play a squad with like 1 or 2 models with a helmet and the rest of the squad helmetless. Every time I would shoot at them the guys with helemts will always pass their saves.
