I too have never posted a comment until now. And, as much as it pains me to see that you are no longer going to continue this, let me say that it was a privilege to read your comics. Your comics were always on the "pun" side of warhammer lore, rules and whatnot.

maybe the best 40k (and also fantasy) webcomic in the last years, made me laugh every time! art style was perfect, humor very intelligent and to the point!

Let me join everyone in thanking you for your work to date, and wishing you luck with your future projects. And add a personal note that long-term your decision might be the right one.

While I'll be sad to see WMS go, it's better to consciously bring things to a conclusion, and move on, rather than let the comic become a chore; To many webcomics just eventually peter out, dying by inches, with increasingly sporadic updates from a creator who's out of ideas, or has just lost all enthusiasm for the project.
It's a situation that satisfies no-one. Not the readers. Certainly not a creator who'd rather be doing something else.

Congratulations on leaving on a high note.

My one suggestion/query is that if you're leaving the website up, whether you'd consider continuing to post submitted material? Although this would, of course leave you stuck with the job of editor. Checking submissions for content and quality.

Something to think about.

As a latecomer to this comic I have read most of it within the past couple months. Wholly inspired and quite amusing for those of us for put up with GW's silliness and have done so for many years. :) Sad to see it come to an end so suddenly for myself, but thanks for the laughs. :)

Through I am saddened by the news of WMS no longer being continued I can understand your decision of stopping now, when you are at the top and it's by your own free will, rather than missing the right time to exit and being dragged off stage.
