Me and some friends went to a Warhammer 40k doubles tournament yesterday in Leuven (Belgium). Together with my brother-in-law we formed the team - you guessed it - "Wobbly Model Syndrome". Kudos to the organization for managing a very fun day of wargaming! Three great battles against six fun opponents! Here are some pictures. We totally forgot to take pictures during the second battle - it was too intense. Sorry guys! We played a double Eldar list, mainly built around two Farseers and eight Warlocks, all on jetbikes. Fortune & Invisibility make a really tough Seer Council. We won the first two battles, but met our match in the final round. Necroadeptus' and Elda's Necron-Nids were to much to handle - although the Seer Council managed to survive 5 rounds of combat againtst a Trygon, 6 Wraiths, a Destroyer Lord and 16 Termagants! As a Nid-fanboy, I thought Elda's awesomely painted Tyranids deserved some special attention. You'll agree, I'm sure! Last week to get your hands on some Wobbly Model Syndrome dice! You'll get one for free with each t-shirt purchased in the webstore. First, some pictures of the first Plaguebearer for my Word Bearers list. He's made from a Beastmen Gor and some green stuff. The first of five to join the Daemon allies of my Word Bearers. I also finished one Venom for my Dark Eldar Coven-themed army. Made from the Talos kit, he fits in perfectly with the rest of the "armada" in the last picture: a raider and two ravagers - also made from the Talos kit. |
